Payment of Account

All account balances must be paid at least thirty days prior to arrival date unless otherwise negotiated. Hunter may not be transported to hunting lodge until his/her account has been settled.

Payments using personal checks are acceptable up to sixty days prior to arrival date. After that time limit, only cash and bank money order can be accepted.

Hunt deposits are transferable but not refundable nor deferrable at the discretion of Pine Ridge Lodge and Wilderness Tours Ltd.

The initial hunt deposit required is 25% of overall hunt package cost.

Minimum age for big game hunting in Newfoundland is 18 years.

Hunting with hand-guns is not permitted.

Hunting with cross-bow is not permitted.

Minimum bullet size is 100 grains, and, with a minimum muzzle energy of 1500 foot pounds. For Big Game, No .22 calibre rifle, including 218; .219; .220; .222; .22/250; .223; .224;, and .225 is permitted.

Bows with a minimum 55 lb. Draw weight are mandatory for hunting big game in Newfoundland.

Rifles of 30 caliber or equivalent, with minimum 180-grain bullet is recommended.

Typical shooting distances are within the range of 100 - 150 yards.

Bullet types preferred: Nosler partition; Barnes X; Ballistic tip; Sierra spitzer boattail.

All 12 day hunts entail a 14 day stay at the hunting camp as Sunday hunting is not permitted in Newfoundland.
