Newfoundland Big Game Hunting - Newfoundland, CanadaHunting Destination, Newfoundland

Newfoundland is located on the East coast of Canada and is served by auto ferry and by air. To drive to the Newfoundland from other points in North America you will follow access routes into the eastern provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

At North Sydney, Nova Scotia, modern auto ferries operated by Marine Atlantic will take you to Port aux Basque, Newfoundland, a seven hour drive from our float plane base at Thorburn Lake, adjacent to the Trans Canada Highway. We can provide all route details from any point within the United States. Most travelers are now using the Internet to determine routing and distances which are available through Google Earth. Other travelers are using the new GPS navigation systems :”Tom Tom’s”. If you require routing assistance, feel free to contact us by e-mail at huntinginfo@pineridge.nf.ca, or by phone at 1-877-406-1055.

Air travel to Newfoundland is provided from most US and European cities by Air Canada, alone, or in concert with US and European based partner airlines. In addition, air service from Newark, NJ. to St. John’s, Newfoundland is also provided by Continental Airlines. For North American travelers, connections with US based airlines, when needed, occur at Atlanta, New York City, Boston, Toronto, Ontario, and Montreal, Quebec.

For European travelers, Air Canada provides flights to Newfoundland from London, UK. Air Canada can be contacted for rates and reservations by phone at 1-888-247-2262 or through their web site at www.aircanada.ca, and Continental Airlines can be contacted through their web site at www.continental.com or by phone at 1-800-231-0856.
